A man stopped a taxi in Milan and asked to be taken to Shampoo Street. When they were in the New Tower, he suddenly took out a knife and forced the taxi driver, Mr Lam, to hand over $350.

He got out of the taxi after robbing the driver, who went to the police station to report the robbery. Policemen there were surprised when Mr Lam told them he remembered the number on one of the one-hundred-dollar bank-notes. It was Q55957.

The number was not so lucky for the robber. He was arrested within thirty minutes of the robbery. The banknote with the “lucky” number was found on him.

The robber was sent to prison. Besides, the judge ordered him to pay $5,000 to the taxi driver. The taxi driver had not been hurt in the robbery.
