In recent years, more and more students go abroad for further study after graduating from junior middle school. In our school we did a survey on whether students should go abroad at that early age. 27% of the students hold the opinion that it is a good chance for them to learn a foreign language. And 40% of the students think they can know more about the foreign culture.

However, other students hold the opposite opinion. 13% of the students think they are too young to live abroad and deal with different things. Moreover, studying abroad can cost a lot, about 20% of the students say that their family can’t afford it.

Personally, I agree with the former opinion, because we should learn to be independent and indeed it’s a good opportunity to open our eyes to the outside world.
