Founded by the Students’ Union in September, 2012, the English Chorus Troupe have been playing an important role in inspiring students’ enthusiasm in learning English and enhancing their oral English. At present, 30 students have become our members and we are looking for more talents who are interested in English. Besides, as a chorus troupe, we have a weekly training from 4:00 to 4:40 every Wednesday afternoon, on the second floor of the Art Building. Significantly, not only do we practice oral English, but also we improve our singing skills. What’s most attractive is that we appreciate and learn to sing classic English songs in order to put on shows on major Western festivals.
