Dear John,

How are you getting on these days? I am writing to tell you some problems I am facing and ask you for some advice on my English study.

After entering Senior Three, I fell nervous and anxious because of too much pressure from studying. Too much nervousness results in sleeplessness, which harms my health. What’s worse, it can make my mind at a loss. As a consequence, my mistakes increase in exams, especially in English exams. I have a lot of trouble with my English, I always forget most of the new words in the text although I try hard to bear them in mind. Moreover, I have kept on listening to English every day, but things always go contrary to my wishes. What should I do?
